The Krewe of Pandora rode for the first time in Jefferson Parish in 2016. The beautiful Pandora was the first mortal woman created by the gods. There are 200 female riders in the parade that runs through Metairie. The krewes colors are Tiffany blue and black.
The parade follows the traditional Metairie route. It begins at the intersection of Bonnabel Blvd and Nero St. The parade will head down Veterans Memorial Blvd and turn right onto Severn Ave. The parade then makes a u-turn at 17th St and comes back south on Severn. It will then turn right back onto Veterans heading west. The parade will end at Houma Blvd near the Clearview Shopping Center.
This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
