The Mystic Knights of Adonis was founded in 1998 and was named after the Greek god Adonis. There are around 200 male and female riders in the Mardi Gras parade. The parade has 16 floats and marching bands. The parade strives to stay on the West Bank.

The parade will begin at Kabel and Gen de Gualle. It will turn left at Gen de Gualle onto Holiday Dr. It then will go southwest on Holiday and becomes Behrman Hwy. At Behrman Hwy and Carol Sue Ave, it takes a right. The parade then turns onto Terry Pkwy where it will end at Terry Pkwy and Wright Ave.

This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
