This krewe started in 1968 with the first every Sunday night parade. The krewe was founded by Owen “Pip” Brennan Jr. There are over 1,600 members all men that ride on 32 animated super-floats. No wonder this krewe has fun and does it big, it is named after the Greek god of wine.

The parade will begin in Uptown New Orleans at the corner of Tchoupitoulas St and Napoleon Ave. It will head north on Napoleon then turn right onto St Charles. It will circle around Lee Cir and head south on St Charles toward Canal St. The parade then turns right onto Canal St heading southeast. It will then make a right on Tchoupitoulas St where it will go south to Julia St. It will turn left and end at Convention Center Blvd and Henderson St.

This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
