This will be the 16th annual Red Beans & Rice Cook-Off with a twist. The cook-off will be take-out and can be purchased in the Slidell Municipal Auditorium Parking Lot. The proceeds will benefit suicide prevention, mental health services and other United Way programs serving St. Tammany Parish.
United Way of Southeast Louisiana is a nonprofit organization that funds programs, supports collaborations, convenes experts, advocates for changes and fosters new and needed community services. Their mission is “To Eradicate Poverty in Southwest Louisiana.”
