The annual Miss Southeastern Louisiana University pageant is a preliminary competition that will go into the Miss Louisiana and Miss America pageant. The pageant has been sponsored by the Southeastern’s Campus Activities Board since the 1970s.
The Columbia Theatre is located in Hammond. The performing arts center is owned and run by Southeastern Louisiana University. The theatre is located in a historic building in downtown Hammond that was once the DreamFactory.
