Come join us for the annual Slidell Food and Fun Fest (St. Margaret Mary Fair) from October 18-21, 2024, on the church grounds at 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell. This year’s festival celebrates the 1984 Louisiana World Exposition with fantastic food, thrilling rides, and live entertainment. Enjoy performances by The Molly Ringwalds, Rhythm Chasers, Nola Rouge Band, Fist Full of Flannel, Voodoo Gumbo, and many more. The festival is open to the public with free general admission on Friday from 5-11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m.-11 p.m., and Sunday from 12-9 p.m.
For those seeking excitement, carnival ride tickets are available for $0.50 each, with rides requiring between 9-12 tickets. Discounted pricing for full-day and full-weekend armbands is available until the Sunday before the festival. For ticket details, visit the festival’s website. The fun doesn’t stop there—kick off Saturday, October 19, with a 5K or 1-mile run/walk at 8 a.m. Registration for the 5K is $20 ($25 after September 30), and the 1-mile event is $12 ($17 after September 30).
