Phunny Phorty Phellows has been part of Mardi Gras since 1878. On the Twelfth Night, they all get on a streetcar and ride along the St. Charles streetcar route. This Krewe is funny and whimsical with tropical-themed costumes.
The parade begins at the Willow Streetcar Barn and goes along the St. Charles route. The parade ends right back where it begins.
This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
