Founded in 1951 the krewe did not begin to parade on the Westbank until 1970. This krewe is made up of men and women. The 625 riders are on 26 floats. The parade includes ten bands, riding bands and riding groups. The krewe is sponsored by the Jugs Social Club.
The parade starts out at Holiday Dr & Fiesta St. It travels north on Holiday and then turns left onto General Meyer. Onto to L B Landry Ave the parade takes a right and heads to Nunez St. At Lamarque St it goes left and follows until Teche St. The parade goes from Teche to Newton. The parade then goes on until it ends at General Meyer Ave.
This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
