This krewe is the first parade to march post-Katrina in 2006. There are several subkrewes including Krewe of C.R.U.D.E., Krewe of L.E.W.D. and Mystic Krewe of Spermes and the Den of Muses. This krewe is loved for its adult themes, political comedy and wild satire.
The parade will begin at Royal & Press St (Homer Plessy Way). The parade will go through the French Quarter and turn left onto Toulouse St. Then at Toulouse St and Decatur St the parade will take a left. Then at Frenchmen St it will go left and right onto Charles St. The parade will go down Charles St and end up by where it began on Homer Plessy St where it will end.
This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
