The Krewe of Crescent City was founded in 1947 and is the second-oldest truck parade. The parade has over 2,500 female and male riders. Each of the 65 trucks represents a different Carnival organization with its own title and theme.

The parade is held in Uptown New Orleans at the intersection of Napoleon Ave and S Clairborne Ave. The parade will follow Napoleon and turn east on St Charles. The parade will follow St Charles to Lee St and circle back around. It will then run north on St Charles to Canal St where it will end at the intersection of Canal St and Elk Pl.

This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
