The krewe was founded in 2000 after the Knight of Momus stopped parading in 1992. There are over 200 all-male rides that parade on Momus Thursday (Fat Tuesday). There are 16 floats in the parade. No one ever knows the identity of the king.
The parade starts at Napoleon Ave and Magazine St. It will run north and turn right onto St Charles where it will go until Lee Cir and turn around back onto St Charles. At Canal St, the parade will travel northwest where it will end at Canal and Roosevelt Way.
This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
