Classical music enthusiasts are in for a treat with this captivating performance. It begins with a Neo-Classical piece by French composer Jacques Ibert, inspired by the style and brilliance of Amadeus Mozart, followed by a work by Mozart himself. The program continues with an operatic overture by Chevalier de Saint-Georges and concludes with Mozartiana, Tchaikovsky’s heartfelt tribute to the legendary composer.
The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) is a great part of the musical culture in New Orleans. They are a full-scale symphonic orchestra and were formed in 1991. Their purpose is to transform people and communities through music.
