Celebrate Independence Day in true Louisiana style at Mandeville’s annual Light Up the Lake Festival & Fireworks Show on Friday, July 4, 2025. Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Pontchartrain, this free, family-friendly event invites guests to enjoy a festive day on the Mandeville lakefront beginning at 10 a.m. Pack a picnic (but leave the glass bottles and charcoal grills at home) and claim your spot early for a day full of patriotic spirit and community fun.
The celebration kicks off with a spirited parade from the Mande Milkshakers at 3 p.m., followed by live music from local favorite Amanda Shaw at 4 p.m. and party band The Boogie Men at 6:45 p.m., all on the stage between Coffee and Carroll Streets. Kids can enjoy free games and crafts at the Keep Mandeville Beautiful tent, while adults can sample local bites from food trucks and refresh with drinks from onsite tents. The evening culminates in a dazzling fireworks display over the lake at 8:45 p.m.—a perfect way to cap off a day of music, food, and Fourth of July pride.
