The Krewe of Joan of Arc was founded in 2008 and is a walking parade that celebrates “The Maid of Orleans.” This parade celebrates New Orleans’ French culture and Joan of Arc’s birthday on the Twelfth Night.
The parade is located in the French Quarter. It begins at the corner of Bienville and N. Front Street. The parade continues the route that ends at Washington Artillery Park where there is a king cake ceremony and disbands.
This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2022 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on March 1, 2022. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
