The Covington Business Association will host the 5th Annual Kokomo Stroll. Patrons will enjoy boat drinks while they stroll downtown Covington’s businesses. Enjoy local cocktails, small-plate tastings and shopping. There will be live beach-themed music playing throughout the streets of downtown.
All patrons must purchase tickets beforehand and present their e-ticket or printed ticket along with their photo ID to receive their cup for the stroll. The cup is your ticket to the Kokomo Stroll. The Kokomo Stroll takes place rain or shine so all sales are final and tickets are non-refundable.
The city of Covington was founded in 1813 and was originally called the Town of Wharton. Covington became the Parish seat in 1829 and was the center of commerce, industry and government for the Northshore. The historic downtown division has been through many changes but currently is a thriver main street community.
