The Satchmo Summer Fest will be held virtually over 7 days this year. This is the 20th Anniversary of the celebration of Louis Armstrong featuring a variety of artists, thematic programming and themed cooking demos on Facebook Live.
Cooking demos will be done live by New Orleans School of Cooking, Abita Brew Pub, Vance Vaucresson, Landry’s Seafood, and Café Dauphine.
Lineup includes James Andrews, John Boutté, Wendell Brunious, Topsy Chapman and Solid Harmony, Meschiya Lake and the Little Big Horns, Herlin Riley, Treme Brass Band, and Tuba Skinny. All musical performances are sponsored by the New Orleans National Jazz Historical Park.
