This is the 11th Annual Abita Springs Busker Festival in Abita Springs. The festival was established to preserve the Louisiana local roots and music. The festival is sponsored by Abita Springs Opry and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival & Foundation, Inc. Patrons must bring their own lawn chair but that is it. There will be food vendors and local restaurants.
The festival takes place at the Abita Springs Trailhead. The museum at the trailhead is known for preserving and celebrating the roots, history and culture of Abita Springs. The Abita Springs Art & Farmers Market will also be there at 11am.
