This is a fairly new krewe, founded in 2012 and is one of New Orleans’ largest all-women krewes. They are known for embracing women from diverse backgrounds. Their motto is “Friends come and go, but a sister is forever.” Named after the Greek goddess of the night, the parade’s colors are hot pink and black. The signature throw is a hand-decorated purse.
The parade begins at Magazine St and Jefferson Ave. It will turn right onto Napoleon Ave from Magazine. At Napoleon and St Charles, the parade will head right. The parade will follow St Charles and circle around Lee Cir back onto St Charles. At Canal St the parade will head east to Tchoupitoulas where it will turn right. The parade will end at Tchoupitoulas and Poydras.
This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
