This krewe was founded in 1939 by The Jester’s Club. The 300 knights ride on floats that are based on chapters in history. The floats are made and designed after the floats that were used over seventy years ago.
The parade starts at Napoleon Ave and Magazine St. It will run north and turn right onto St Charles where it will go until Lee Cir and turn around back onto St Charles. At Canal St, the parade will travel southeast where it will end at Canal and Decatur St.
This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
