The Krewe of Argus was founded in 1972 and is a big deal in Jefferson Parish. This is a family event with 405 riders including men, women and children. You will see marching bands, floats and guest celebrities.

This Metairie parade will start at Veterans Blvd and Houma Blvd where it will go west. It will make a U-turn right before Clearwater Pkwy and stay on Veterans. At the intersection of Veterans and Severn Ave the parade will go left. At 12th St the parade will turn around and travel south to Veterans and turn left. It will follow Veterans to Bonnabel Blvd where it will go north. The parade will turn around at Bonnabel and Feronia St and go south on Veterans. It will end at Veterans and Martin Behrman Ave.

This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
