Fools of Misrule parade is a marching parade on the Northshore. The Krewe was founded in 2011 and has a marching brass band. The parade is led by the “Lord of Misrule” and is patterned after an ancient English men’s group.
The parade will begin at the Columbia Street Tap Room on the corner of Lockwood St and Columbia St. It will then turn onto New Hampshire St and make another turn onto Walker Alley, then Columbia St. The parade will end where it began on Lockwood St.
This year Mardi Gras will be celebrated in New Orleans from January 6, 2020 (Twelfth Night) to Fat Tuesday on February 25, 2020. There will be 74 parades around the New Orleans Metro and the Northshore.
