The Chimes restaurant in Covington is hosting a Super Blood Drive in honor of World Blood Donor Day, June 14th. The Blood Center will be on-site from 11 am – 7 pm.
Donors will receive giveaways and the first 50 donors will get a swag bag. Giveaways include many items such as a World Blood Donor Day t-shirt, an insulated lunch bag, passes to area attractions, gift cards, small electronics, or other gifts donated by generous local businesses.
The Blood Center is located in New Orleans and was founded in 1960. The center is the primary supplier of blood to local hospitals throughout South Louisiana and Southern Mississippi.
