YLC Wednesday at the Square is a free concert series held in the heart of downtown New Orleans at Lafayette Square. Every Wednesday from 5–8 PM, locals and visitors alike gather to enjoy live music from some of the city’s best performers, surrounded by the vibrant energy of the Central Business District. While the concerts are free and open to the public, proceeds from **food and beverage sales directly benefit the Young Leadership Council’s (YLC) community projects**—initiatives that enhance the quality of life in the Greater New Orleans area while developing leadership skills in the city’s emerging young professionals.
No tickets are required to enjoy the food and drinks—purchases can be made directly from vendors using a major credit card or an **activated gift card** (available at the Information booth for those using cash). For an elevated experience, a **VIP Area** is also available, offering the best views and amenities. Whether you’re there for the music, the mission, or the midweek fun, your participation supports a greater cause—keeping this concert series **free and thriving** while empowering the next generation of New Orleans leaders.
