The Autumn Polo Classic is back at the picturesque Summergrove Farm in Folsom, bringing thrilling polo action to the Northshore! This year, over 500 patrons will gather to enjoy two exciting matches filled with high-speed horse action. Alongside the sport, guests can indulge in local cuisine, specialty drinks, a premier silent auction, and participate in the event’s signature hat contest. Polo is also a fashion spectacle, with many attendees dressed in elegant ‘derby attire.’ At halftime, spectators are invited onto the field to replace divots kicked up by the horses, offering a unique opportunity to experience the vastness of the field and snap photos.
This annual charity event supports NAMI Southeast Louisiana (NAMI SELA), the National Alliance for Mental Illness. NAMI SELA is dedicated to providing education, support, and advocacy for individuals living with mental illness and their families. Last year, their efforts reached over 53,000 people across the region, offering vital resources and outreach services. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled day that benefits a great cause. Guests are welcome to arrive between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., with tickets offering all-day access to the venue, including food, drinks, bars, the silent auction, and the exciting polo matches.
