The Freret Street Festival happens annually from Freret Street to Napoleon to Valmont Street. This is a six block festival with over 200 artists and chefs. There will be great live music on three stages with twenty bands.
The Freret Market was established in September of 2007 to help get the Freret business area back on its feet. This is a family friendly area where patrons can enjoy music, shop and admire art by local artists. This is a community event and Market that is big on staying local and keeping local business in business.
