Come enjoy a three-day event at the Festival of Bonfires. There will be plenty of fun for the whole family including, a Gumbo /Potato Salad/Bread Pudding Cook-Off, Cookie Contest, Gingerbread Contest, Children’s Pageant, Teen’s Pageant, Santa, Annual Fireworks show, live music,1/2 mile Kids Run/Walk by Welcome Center, Merry Forest, Art Contest, Car Show and amusement rides!
The bonfires on the levee have been a Christmas tradition along River Road for ages. This event is known locally and nationally and is a popular Christmas activity.
