This is the 32nd Madisonville Boat Festival that is held annually on the banks of the Tchefuncte River. This fall event is fun for the entire family. There will be a Children’s Village for the kids that will focus on science and the outdoors. Everyone will enjoy arts and crafts booths, the Quick ‘n’ Dirty Boat Building Contest, the parade, music and more.
This event is presented by the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum in Madisonville. Hundreds of classic boats, spectator boats, and wooden boats will be there. This two-day celebration is a great fall outdoor event.
