Come celebrate Father’s Day at the Father’s Day fishing rodeo at Fountainbleau State Park in Mandeville. It will cost $50 for a child & guardian (additional fees for multiple children). All kids ages 5-15 will be included and fish off of the pier. The fun will be for all with youth fishing competitions, educational information, demonstrations, prizes, and more.
Fountainbleau State Park is a 2,800-acre park located on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain. There is a beach, an old railroad track and a nice trail for hiking and cycling. Patrons can make it a weekend getaway at the park’s campground with lakefront cabins.
