Come have fun with the St. John Fools of Misrule in Covington at Fools Fest 3. Patrons will not only enjoy a free live concert but also food trucks and beverages will be there to purchase. Many famous artists such as Drivin’ and Cryin’, Magnolia Bayou, Dash Rip Rock, Cypress Creek, Abita Blues Band and Three Rivers Cooperative.
St. John Fools of Misrule came about due to the lack of any Twelfth Night celebrations along the Northshore. The krewe was formed to ring in the arrival of Carnival season and was named after the historic St. John District of old Covington. The organization loves to celebrate and parade along the streets with cowbells.
