Good People is a play about the division of class. It tells the story of blue-collar Irish who make it out of their South Boston neighborhood. It also looks back on those that were left behind and their strengths of character.
Playmakers Community Theater is located in Covington, Louisiana on the Northshore. It is a 501(C)3 organization and was established in 1955.
The theater is backed by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism. The Louisiana State Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, Art Works also provide funding.
